The plan today was to go into Palma (which is 45mins from Pollença on the bus) as we need to buy a water tester so we can see what’s going on with our water maker. After having breakfast however we realised we just couldn’t be bothered, and justified our decision to stay on “The Island” with excuses about it being Saturday, and that it’d be packed.

So stay on the boat we did, and we had a wonderfully relaxing day. We attached the full boat-length awnings which we had made with the bimini and spray hood and they worked wonders to keep the boat shaded and cool. For lunch we tried out our new GoSun solar grill, into which you throw food, stick it in the sun for an hour and hey presto, you’ve got yourself lunch. I was a bit skeptical at first, but today I was converted. It’s like having a BBQ but far less hassle. This afternoon we had a few swims, giggled as a naked Frenchie motored past on his boat, did a bit of admin, played a few games, listened to some music, drank some wine, had dinner and, well, that’s the day over!
